  1. We use a contact form on our site to collect a name, email address and telephone number from prospective clients who express an interest in our services so we can contact them to discuss their requirements
  2. We use a MailChimp sign-up plugin to collect the name and email address from visitors who consent to sign up to our newsletters

 

Client Data

 

  1. We collect relevant information necessary for the specific work the client has requested, including
  • email address
  • hosting login details
  • website login details
  • social media login details
  • phone number
  • payment gateway login details
  • address

 

How we use the information we collect

 

  1. We use logins and passwords to gain access to relevant information and/or set up frameworks and plugins necessary to the work we have been asked to carry out.      For example, to set up a payment gateway on an e-commerce website we are building
  2. Personal details – emails, phone numbers and addresses – are used a. to contact the client b. to include the work carried out, for example, a website or artwork for print

 

When we delete the information

 

  1. Logins and passwords are stored as long as is necessary to complete the work we have been instructed to carry out
  2. Client contact details are kept on file. You may request that we remove this information from our records by emailing hello@madeincheshire.co.uk
  3. Newsletter sign up details, name and email address, are stored in a MailChimp.com list until an unsubscribe request is received. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the foot of all MailChimp emails or by emailing us at hello@madeincheshire.co.uk and requesting that we remove you from the list

  • Register a unique ID that is used by Google to keep statistics of how the visitor uses YouTube videos across different platforms
  • Try to estimate the users’ bandwidth on pages with integrated YouTube video
  • Register a unique ID to keep statistics of what videos for YouTube the user has seen.
